Actress Zoë Kravitz has reportedly secured an invite to her friend Taylor Swift‘s wedding to Travis Kelce—despite rumors swirling online that their friendship is “dunzo.”
According to a source close to Kravitz, 37, who recently sparked her own engagement rumors with partner Harry Styles after she was seen sporting a large diamond on her ring finger, the “Big Little Lies” star is expected to be among the many A-listers in attendance at Swift and Kelce’s nuptials, which are said to be taking place later this year.
The insider told People magazine that there is no “Bad Blood” between the two women—just days after gossip website Deuxmoi shared a blind item tip in which it was suggested that Kravitz and Swift were no longer on good terms.
Deuxmoi’s tip alleged that Swift and Kravitz’s friendship was “dunzo” and that the actress was “actually mad” about not receiving an invitation to the highly anticipated wedding, which is reportedly taking place in New York City in July, according to Page Six.
News of the alleged rift came as something of a curveball—particularly given that both Swift and Kravitz have been very open about their close bond, which even saw Swift loaning her $25 million Beverly Hills mansion to Kravitz during the California wildfires, a decision that ended in disaster for the actress and her mother, Lisa Bonet.

Kravitz recounted the dramatic events that unfolded while she and her mother were holed up in the opulent property during an August appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” leaving host Seth Meyers open-mouthed in shock as she revealed the twisted tale.
The saga began, the actress revealed, after Swift generously offered up her empty home to Kravitz and her mother, who had been evacuated from their own homes amid the deadly wildfires that began tearing through Los Angeles in January.
At the time, Swift was not residing in the home—instead spending her time after the conclusion of the “Eras Tour” in New York, while also traveling to Kelce’s NFL games, leaving her property available for friends to use.
“She was kind enough to let me stay at her house,” Kravitz explained. “My mom lives in Topanga Canyon, I said, ‘It’s a dangerous place to be. Come [here].’
“My mom has a pet snake. So she has her evacuation stuff, she comes over with the pet snake, and we ended up having to stay there for maybe about two weeks.”
The “Blink Twice” star noted that Swift has “a very beautiful house” that you “want to preserve and take care of,” before explaining how she and her mother ended up doing the exact opposite.
Kravitz revealed that she was preparing to leave Swift’s property—which is a landmarked 1934 estate and was once owned by legendary movie producer Samuel Goldwyn—while Bonet was going to stay there for a bit longer.
“I had to leave for work, and I was kind of packing up my things, and I was saying to my mom, ‘I want to be a good houseguest, I like to leave places better than I found them, I don’t even want her to know we were here.'”
In a bid to leave Swift’s home in immaculate condition, Kravitz said she was going around the property cleaning up, when she received a phone call from her mother.
“Which was weird because we were in the same house,” she admitted, joking that Swift’s house is “big, but still.”

After answering the phone, Kravitz noted that Bonet’s voice “was super high,” indicating that something had gone amiss.
“She’s like, ‘Um, I’m in a little bit of a pickle. Can you come upstairs?’ I’m like, ‘OK,'” the actress recalled.
When she made her way up to the second story of the home, Kravitz—whose father is famed crooner Lenny Kravitz—found her mother crouched “in this weird way” in the corner of the bathroom.
It was then that Bonet explained exactly what had happened: “So I was washing my face and I had Orpheus [the snake], and I just put her down for a second. Closed the door, and she found this little hole in the corner.”
Kravitz immediately looked down at where her mother was crouching and saw that she was holding her pet snake by the tail to prevent it from fully slithering into the wall. But her grip on the reptile was slowly slipping.
“She’s holding the snake’s tail. … They’re all muscle, they’re very, very strong,” she said. “The snake is getting further and further in.”
To help her mom try to grab the snake, the on-screen star began trying to come up with another way of removing Orpheus from the hole, noting that the opening was “next to a banquette that is built into the wall.”
“I’m like, ‘Maybe this hole goes into the drawers [of the banquette].’ So I get down on the ground, I take the drawers out. No. Start to panic,” she shared.
Kravtiz said she was in such a state of panic that her mother joked she would have “slapped” her face had she had both hands free to do so.
“I was freaking out,” the actress admitted. “But I’m like, ‘Mom, I can’t bring you anywhere!'”

At that point, Kravitz realized that they were going to need some additional help to try to rescue the snake, recalling that she had called her assistant, Caroline, who was at a loss on what to do.
“The house manager was there, he comes up, and we’re like, ‘So the snake—.’ He’s like, ‘There’s a snake?'” she said.
At that point, all hope Kravitz might have had of leaving Swift’s home perfectly preserved went out the window, with the “Mad Max: Fury Road” star revealing that the pop star’s house manager had to take a crowbar to the banquette and the tile underneath it.
“He starts having to tear apart this banquette. We’re ripping up the tiles, we’re scratching the walls,” she said. “We completely destroyed Taylor’s bathroom. And there was just this moment where I was like, ‘Either we destroy her bathroom, or I have to tell her there’s a snake somewhere in her house.'”
Both Meyers and Kravitz agreed that having a snake running loose in a home would be the worse of two “bad options.”
“That’s worse because then your house is ruined forever,” Kravitz joked.
Eventually, after wreaking havoc in the bathroom, the actress and her mom were able to get the snake out of the hole—and Kravitz said she promised the house manager that she would get everything fixed before Swift returned, admitting that she begged him not to tell the pop star what had transpired until she could complete the repairs.
“I remember calling her and saying, ‘Hey,’ also in a very high voice. ‘I just wanted to talk to you about something,'” Kravitz revealed. “And she was like, ‘Is it the fact that you almost lost a snake in my house and destroyed my bathroom?'”
Swift later weighed in on the situation during her own appearance on Meyers’ show in October, admitting to the host that she’d found it hard to get upset about the situation because it was so funny.
“We’ve all got that one friend. I just remember getting a call from my head of security and him trying to explain this story to me,” she said.

Swift revealed that her first response was “what snake?” She told the host she was unaware there was a reptile living in her home.
“I kind of found myself listening to this, and I’m like, ‘Uh-huh, OK, OK,’” she said. “And I hate to first-and-last name a friend, but it’s important in this situation. OK, so Zoe Kravitz and Lisa Bonet are holding on to a Burmese python. It’s halfway in the wall. There’s a man standing with an ax, who has just chopped up a custom vintage antique cupboard.
“There’s splinters on the floor. They’re looking—in my mind, this is an Annie Leibovitz shoot. … This is the chicest thing I’ve ever heard in my life. [It’s] not a problem.”
Luckily, Swift had a good attitude about the hilarious turn of events.
“It just sounds incredible. I’m sad I didn’t see it. I can’t even be mad,” she said.
However, the singer did turn the tables on Kravitz, by playing “a little game” to see how long it would actually take her friend to ‘fess up—particularly as the actress had admitted to begging Swift’s security guard not to spill the beans.
According to Swift, it took Kravitz three weeks to finally own up to the incident, noting that it was “exactly the amount of time it took to fix the damaged cupboard.”
When Kravitz finally admitted the situation to Swift, she told her friend, “Dude, I’ve been laughing about this for three weeks.”
Swift originally purchased the sprawling seven-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom property in 2015 for $25 million—scoring quite a sizable discount on the dwelling, which had been listed for $32 million.
The home, which sits on 2 acres and offers over 10,000 square feet of living space, was described in its listing as the “epitome of cordial grace and distinguished heritage.”
Highlights of the eye-catching home include seven bedrooms, a guest suite, a screening room, and a gym. The parklike grounds offer up a championship tennis court, rose garden, pool, and pool house.
The opulent estate has served as Swift’s West Coast home base for the past 10 years, although she boasts plenty of other impressive homes in her portfolio, including an enormous penthouse in Tribeca that she created by combining two adjacent units in the Manhattan building.
