Proud new mom Alyssa Farah Griffin has shared a glimpse into her life as a mother of one, revealing a heartwarming image of herself and husband Justin Griffin bonding with their newborn son, Justin Jr., inside their suburban “forever home.”

Alyssa, 36, and Justin, 37, welcomed their baby boy on Feb. 10, just four months after “The View” host announced her pregnancy live on the talk show, with her costars sharing the happy news of her new arrival with viewers on Feb. 11.

“The first thing we want to do is start by congratulating Alyssa and her husband Justin on the birth of their baby boy. He weighed in at 7 pounds and 19-and-a-half inches,” host Whoopi Goldberg shared. “We’re happy to report that mom, dad, and Justin, Jr. are doing well.”

Now, Alyssa has revealed a heartwarming peek inside her first few weeks as a mother, sharing a series of images of her family—and her time in the hospital—on her Instagram account, simply captioning the carousel of photos: “Full heart.”

The first photo in the slideshow features Alyssa and her husband staring lovingly at their child, who is cradled in his mother’s arms while she perches in the living room of the family’s home in Bronxville, NY, where the Griffins moved in September 2024.

While she did not reveal it at the time, Alyssa later shared that she had been going through fertility treatments at the time of the move, which saw the couple relocating from their Upper East Side apartment to a palatial property in the suburbs.

However, after sharing the news about her pregnancy, “The View” host opened up about her struggle to conceive in a candid interview with People, telling the publication that she had initially been reluctant to share the news because she was worried about the reaction from viewers—particularly those who regularly “tweet … milk bottles at me.”

“But the only reason I haven’t shared to this point is it was important to us to get through the 20-week appointment, which is the full anatomy, making sure everything’s developing right because you’re just higher risk, both with my age and with the infertility issues I’ve dealt with and [am] dealing with,” she added.

Alyssa revealed that she had endured five rounds of IVF before conceiving, noting that she wanted to wait until she and Justin were confident about the pregnancy before they shared the news so publicly.

“Most of my friends sadly have dealt with miscarriages, too, at some point. So we wanted to feel like we were in a safe place before we got too celebratory,” she went on.

However, after sharing the joyous news, Alyssa was more than happy to speak out about her plans for her family, revealing to the outlet her joy at creating a warm and loving home for their son.

“I’m so excited to be a boy mom, even though I’ll be outnumbered at home because we have two male dogs,” she joked. “But wanted a boy first. I grew up with sisters, and I’ve always liked the idea of a big brother looking out for the younger siblings.”

Justin added: “As someone who grew up with a big family and a very close family, the best memories I have are with my mom, my dad, my brother and our cousins. So I’m excited to create that environment for our son.”

Having relocated to the suburbs, the couple now have plenty of room to expand their brood, previously revealing that they would both like to have two kids.

Luckily, while their New York abode was somewhat limited on space, spanning just 1,500 square feet, including two bedrooms and two bathrooms, their Bronxville dwelling has much more room for their growing family.

Located in Bronxville Village, about 15 miles from midtown Manhattan, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom, 1924-era architectural offers 4,000 square feet. The home blends “classic charm and contemporary sophistication,” a previous listing noted, with elements such as graceful archways, a sunken living room with a gas fireplace, along with modern comforts.

Highlights include a chef’s kitchen that connects to a breakfast area and family room, a dining room, an office space, a wine room, and a primary suite with a spa-worthy bath, and dual closets.

The lower level has a media room. Outside, the property perks include an “enchanting” English garden, a stone terrace, and mature plantings.

Another benefit of the location is its close proximity to the village center, schools, and train station, the listing added.

However, Farah revealed shortly after announcing her relocation to Bronxville that the move had not been without its difficulties, explaining that had actually interviewed then-President Joe Biden on the same day that they landed in the suburbs.

“I’m officially in the burbs!” she revealed on “The View” podcast, “Behind the Table.” “We had our movers there until 8:30 last night, so literally my day was morning, rush here, get here early, interview the President of the United States, you know get all the feedback that we were while physically moving into my new house. I’m so excited. I’m so happy.”

Alyssa added that while she focused on her hosting job, her husband had handled the hard part of the move.

“He managed 99 percent of the moving because I had to be here,” she said. “And he was like, ‘This is a huge day; you have the president. Just focus, don’t rush home.’”

Just a few months after leaving her New York home—which she and her husband are thought to have been renting—Alyssa made another major real estate move when she offloaded her Washington, DC, townhome for the staggering sum of $1.8 million.

The sale came just three weeks after she put the two-bedroom, two-bathroom property on the market for the much lower price of $1.59 million, meaning the on-air correspondent walked away with a very hefty profit.

The elegant dwelling served as the TV host’s main residence for less than two years before she and her husband relocated to New York City so she could take up a hosting job on “The View,” joining the likes of Goldberg and Joy Behar on the hit ABC talk show.

Its listing described a “quintessential Georgetown home” that is “nestled among the most charming townhouses in the East Village.”

The description also noted that Alyssa and her husband made several updates, including relining the chimney and “refreshing” the kitchen, as well as installing a new lighting system that “enhances the home’s warm and inviting ambience.”

Adding to that inviting ambience is a wood-burning fireplace in the “cozy dining room,” as well as an eat-in kitchen that opens to a private patio, which is described as an “oasis for relaxation or entertaining.”
