Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens spent just one month living full time in their custom Texas mansion before packing up and heading to their new hometown of Indianapolis, where the NFL star is now set to spent the next season playing for the Colts.
The 29-year-old gymnast took to Instagram to document the couple’s recent trip to Indiana, where Owens, 30, officially signed with his new team, mere days after his contract with the Chicago Bears came to an end.
In her posts, Biles shared photos from inside the Colts’ home field, the Lucas Oil Stadium, where Owens will be based for the next year.
She also hinted on her main feed that she and Owens will be seeking out a home in Indianapolis, writing in her caption: “Excited to call Indy home this upcoming football season. Beyond proud of you @jowens! Keep defeating the odds, I love you.”
The first photo in the carousel showed the happy couple grinning from ear-to-ear as Owens signed his contract, while other snaps documented their tour of the facility, including an impressive indoor training area.

Biles also took the opportunity to ask Indianapolis locals for recommendations for everything from hairstylists to restaurants.
“Please send recs for all things Indy,” she wrote, before asking for specific referrals for “hairstylists, makeup artists, nail salons, restaurants, vet, dermatologist, spa.”
It will mark the third state that the couple has moved to in less than a year—after they packed up their Chicago abode when Owens’ contract with the Bears came to an end when the 2025 NFL season concluded.
Just weeks after they moved back to their home state of Texas from Illinois, the couple announced that they would be relocating yet again after Owens signed a new contract.
Biles marked the milestone moment in a post on Instagram on March 13, when she voiced her excitement over her husband’s newest career move.
“No Friday the 13th scaries here,” she joked, while resharing a post from the NFL’s official account in which Owens’ signing was announced.
“So proud of you baby,” Biles continued. “Indy, here we come.”
Owens’ agent, Sunny Shah, confirmed the deal to NBC Sports, revealing that his client had signed a one-year contract with the Colts, although he did not share details about the value of that agreement.
The news came mere weeks after Owens and Biles left Chicago and moved back to Texas—and to the custom lakefront mansion they spent years building.
In November, they revealed that work on the property had finally been completed; however, it wasn’t until February, after the Bears’ NFL season had drawn to a close, that they were able to properly move into their home, which is located on the edge of a man-made lake in Spring, just outside of Houston.

Biles happily documented the couple’s final weekend in the Windy City, sharing a host of images on her Instagram Stories in which the duo could be seen enjoying a date night and a trip for ice cream before returning to Texas.
The duo’s return to the Lone Star State marked the first time since their home was completed that they actually had an opportunity to live there together; the gymnast had previously spent her time jetting between Texas and Chicago, checking on their home’s progress while supporting her husband on the sidelines of his NFL games.
Since moving back to Spring, Biles has revealed several glimpses into their new home, opening up about the unpacking process—and how they’ve been spending their time now that Owens isn’t required to attend training and games every day.
Biles, who turned 29 on March 14, revealed that she was spending the start of her birthday week at home in Texas, where she snapped several photos of the dwelling.
In a series of photos posted to her Instagram Stories, the Biles began by capturing a photo of the couple’s enormous living room, which overlooks the swimming pool and the lake, boasting floor-to-ceiling walls of glass that slide open to offer immediate access to the outdoor area.
At the heart of the open-plan space, which leads directly into the kitchen, is a large sectional couch, which has been adorned with different throw pillows and blankets—and was, in Biles’ photo, being used as a relaxation spot for two of her three dogs.
A small hexagonal black coffee table is perched in front of the couch, while a black-and-tan patterned rug adds some texture and depth to the space.
In one corner, Biles and Owens have added a potted plant to inject some greenery into the room, while floor-to-ceiling curtains hang over the sliding walls of glass.
Outside the room, an enormous TV screen could be seen mounted on the wall of the couple’s covered patio, which has no doubt been earmarked as an ideal spot for hanging out with friends and perhaps watching the upcoming NFL season.

In her next snap, Biles took her followers into the primary bedroom, where she revealed she was enjoying an afternoon “naptime.”
Much like the rest of the dwelling, the space has a very muted aesthetic, with textured beige walls and a gray marble fireplace, above which a TV is mounted on the wall.
Perhaps the most unique feature of the space is the mirrored ceiling, which Biles used as a selfie spot while visiting the home before its completion, although a large black fan has since been added to it.
Much like the living room, the couple’s bedroom features its own sliding glass doors that open up to a private terrace overlooking the backyard and swimming pool area.
The couple have had the chance to add some of their own flair to the room in the form of artwork that is mounted on the wall, and a few vases and plants.
Last, but by no means least, Biles shared a photo of a pre-birthday gift she ordered for herself in anticipation of her big day—revealing a snap of three shoeboxes from Christian Louboutin, which she had piled up on her custom marble floor, much to the excitement of her French bulldog, who also appears in the candid image.
“Happy birthday to me,” Biles captioned the snap, before joking: “Never had a pair, I lowkey thought my little feet were too fat.”
It’s unclear whether Biles and Owens will look for a full-time home in Indianapolis, having previously resided in what is thought to have been a rented property in Chicago. Given that Owens’ contract is for just one year, it may be that they choose to lease another dwelling close to the Colts’ stadium in downtown Indianapolis.
The majority of Colts players choose to reside in one of the more affluent suburbs of Indianapolis, including Meridian Hills, where NFL legend Peyton Manning is said to have lived when he was playing for the Colts.
