Gymnast Simone Biles is preparing to celebrate a significant milestone inside her custom-built Texas mansion by marking the first birthday she will spend at the opulent property since it was finally completed at the end of 2025.
Biles, who will turn 29 on March 14, has spent the last few weeks soaking up time inside her dream abode, having only had the chance to officially move into the dwelling in February following the end of husband Jonathan Owens‘ NFL season.
Before that, Biles had spent much of her time living in a property in Chicago, where her spouse was playing for the Chicago Bears.
But when the Bears’ 2025 NFL run came to an end, the couple, who wed in 2023, were finally able to start settling into the enormous new dwelling, which is located on the edge of a man-made lake in Spring, just outside of Houston.
Now, Biles has offered a small glimpse inside her new life at the property, sharing sneak peeks at the ways in which she and Owens, 30, have made the house their home.

In a series of photos posted to her Instagram Stories this week, Biles began by capturing a photo of the couple’s enormous living room, which overlooks the swimming pool and the lake, boasting floor-to-ceiling walls of glass that slide open to offer immediate access to the outdoor area.
At the heart of the open-plan space, which leads directly into the kitchen, is a large sectional couch, which has been adorned with different throw pillows and blankets—and was, in Biles’ photo, being used as a relaxation spot for two of her three dogs.
A small hexagonal black coffee table is perched in front of the couch, while a black-and-tan patterned rug adds some texture and depth to the space.
In one corner, Biles and Owens have added a potted plant to inject some greenery into the room, while floor-to-ceiling curtains hang over the sliding walls of glass.
Outside the room, an enormous TV screen could be seen mounted on the wall of the couple’s covered patio, which has no doubt been earmarked as an ideal spot for hanging out with friends and perhaps watching the upcoming NFL season.
In her next snap, Biles took her followers into the primary bedroom, where she revealed she was enjoying an afternoon “naptime.”
Much like the rest of the dwelling, the space has a very muted aesthetic, with textured beige walls and a gray marble fireplace, above which a TV is mounted on the wall.
Perhaps the most unique feature of the space is the mirrored ceiling, which Biles used as a selfie spot while visiting the home before its completion, although a large black fan has since been added to it.

Much like the living room, the couple’s bedroom features its own sliding glass doors that open up to a private terrace overlooking the backyard and swimming pool area.
The couple have had the chance to add some of their own flair to the room in the form of artwork that is mounted on the wall, and a few vases and plants.
Last, but by no means least, Biles shared a photo of a pre-birthday gift she ordered for herself in anticipation of her big day—revealing a snap of three shoeboxes from Christian Louboutin, which she had piled up on her custom marble floor, much to the excitement of her French bulldog, who also appears in the candid image.
“Happy birthday to me,” Biles captioned the snap, before joking: “Never had a pair, I lowkey thought my little feet were too fat.”
It’s now been just over a month since the Olympian revealed to her fans and followers that she and Owens were quitting their temporary home in Chicago to relocate back to Texas, where they have been based for the majority of their relationship.
However, when Owens signed a two-year contract with the Bears in 2024, the couple began splitting their time between the Lone Star State and the Windy City—with Biles previously joking about her horror at having to endure the bitter Chicago winters.
Soon after sharing some photos of their final weekend in Illinois, Biles revealed how she and Owens were spending their time in their custom mansion, from soaking in the enormous tub in their primary bathroom to unpacking in their palatial walk-in closet.
Biles and Owens spent more than three years waiting for their custom-built mansion to be completed, having initially broken ground on the project before they wed in 2023.

In November, when she revealed that the home had finally been finished, the gymnast shared some insight into what that process looked like, joking that she had been “lied” to by project managers who originally told her it would take nine months.
“Home building requires a lot of patience,” she wrote, while sharing a video of herself and Owens that was taken when only the framework of the home had been built.
“Started the design process in 2020 and took a year to complete,” she said of the first step they took in their homebuilding journey.
“Approvals took a while from [the] HOA; broke ground in Feb 2022; completed 11/11/25,” she added. “They lied when they said nine months to build!”
Still, the gold medalist was quick to voice her pride at having finally finished the mansion, writing: “Anyways proud of us. ILYSM @jowens.”
Luckily it appears that both Biles and Owens are over the moon with the finished product—although the Olympian admitted that she was particularly thrilled with one space: the custom laundry room, which has been outfitted with two washing machines and two dryers so that she and her husband each have their own.
“Since Jonathan always wants to do laundry the exact same day as me,” Biles wrote while sharing a photo of the space. “Now [there is] one set for each of us.”
Among the home’s other very unique amenities is a custom-built room for the couple’s dogs, which Biles revealed she decked out in the same black-and-white tile that they used on their lakefront swimming pool.
The space features a pet spa area as well as a built-in spot for the dogs’ bowls.
