“Selling the OC” star Tyler Stanaland has reportedly backed out of appearing on his ex-girlfriend Alex Hall‘s podcast at the last minute, just one week after tying the knot with his new wife, Hannah Morrissey.
According to TMZ, Hall, 36, who had a fierce falling out with Stanaland after claims he cheated on her, extended an olive branch to him in attempt to put their past behind them by talking out their issues on her podcast, “Pretty Dirty.”
Sources told the outlet that Stanaland, 36, was excited about collaborating with Hall on her podcast—and was eager to get the truth about their relationship out in the open.
However, insiders claim that he then canceled on Hall last minute “out of respect for his relationship” with Morrissey, with whom he eloped last week.
While Hall had reportedly invited her former partner on the podcast before the fourth season of their show ended, the drama that featured on screen is understood to have prompted a change of heart in the real estate expert.

Sources further alleged that Hall offered Stanaland multiple other dates after he canceled, only to be told that he had chosen to forgo the opportunity and focus his energies on his marriage instead.
He reportedly informed Hall that he wanted their relationship to be kept in the past.
Fans first met Stanaland on “Selling the OC” Season 1, which premiered in August 2022, as an agent at The Oppenheim Group.
At the time, he was married to actress Brittany Snow, however, after they revealed that they had split, fans began speculating that sparks were flying between Hall and Stanaland.
However, things went south when it was revealed that Hall wasn’t the only woman Stanaland was seeing.
Stanaland eventually left the brokerage in October 2023, and opted to work with his family at Douglas Elliman instead.
However, Stanaland did make several appearances in a Season 4 episode of “Selling the OC” that aired on Nov. 12, during which the former Oppenheim agent told Hall that he always loved her.

Last week, Stanaland and Morrisey tied the knot in front of friends and family.
The duo hosted a Laguna Beach ceremony for their nearest and dearest in what was described as an “effortless” event.
“The wedding and getting to marry my best friend was an absolute dream come true in every way. It was fun and intimate and intentional and about all the things it should be—two families becoming one and a celebration of love,” Stanaland told People.
“[It] was more of an intimate, anti-wedding elopement,” he added.
Morrissey and Stanaland met at church, and announced their engagement on Oct. 16.
The lovebirds are moving in January and are “really looking forward to decorating and furnishing” their first home together.
“I’m most excited to spend every day with my best friend. I can’t wait to keep adventuring and laughing and one day grow a family together,” Stanaland added.
